The dense vegetation of west coast Mexico includes vibrantly colored
flora and fauna including Bougainvillea and papaya plants.
Mangrove trees provide welcome shade at the beach. Zihuatanejo’s
fishermen catch blue marlin, mahi mahi and sailfish, which
are sold on the beach daily.
