When did you join Club Intrawest?

I started in December 2002.

Describe your role.
I manage the Member Services team of 25 reps and ensure that we maintain the integrity of the program by offering exceptional customer service, re-enforcing policies and making sure Members are treated equally and fairly.

What do you find rewarding about your work at Club Intrawest?
The fact that we have a 97% Member satisfaction is very rewarding! Also, the Member Services team is dedicated and knowledgeable which makes my job enjoyable.

How do you motivate your team to provide such exceptional service to our Members?
I have morning meetings to give kudos and review changes. I have a lot of competitions too, but overall, I try and hire enthusiastic people who want to grow with the company.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work (hobbies, sports, etc.)?
In terms of sports, I snowshoe in the winter and hike in the summer. When it comes to hobbies, I like to paint, do enamel on copper art and woodwork. I also read a lot and create many informative and historical scrapbooks.

Employee Profile:

David Morgan, Presentation Manager
Like a lot of employees at Club Intrawest, David has enjoyed many different opportunities across the company. And in David's case - across the country.

He first started at Club Intrawest in December of 2003 at our location in Blue Mountain, Ontario. As a Sales Representative, he aspired to be the top rep at Blue. Not only did he achieve this goal, he became the second top selling sales person in the entire company. By February 2005, David moved into a Sales Manager role.

As a Club Intrawest Member, David and his family have had the opportunity to visit many of the Club locations on vacation. During one visit to beautiful Whistler, British Columbia (with a stop over in Vancouver), David and his fiancée fell in love with the west coast. It was then that he applied for a Presentation Manager opening at the Whistler Club location. Today, David helps the Sales Reps as a mentor and also the guests by answering any questions about the Club and membership.

"Since I have a passion for what I do, the most rewarding thing about my job is the life changing opportunity I have when people decide to join our Club," says David. "I believe people become members because Club Intrawest offers vacation experiences that clearly meet and exceed their expectations. From skiing, to golfing, to lying on the beach or swimming in the ocean there are plenty of options. Club Intrawest delivers that remarkable vacation experience."

I started worked at Club Intrawest - Trembalnt in June 2002 as an ambassador. Soon after, I moved into the position of Enrollment Representative, working with new Members. My passion for the product inspired me to become a Sales Representative. Today, I'm a Sales Manager.

What do you find most rewarding about your job?
I love meeting so many interesting people from all over the world. I find it rewarding to play a role in changing their lives for the better. I also love to help out my team-mates.

In your experience, why do people become Members of Club Intrawest?
I think people like the idea of making a lifetime commitment to vacation - to leave their busy schedules every year to live life to the fullest. The locations and quality of our Vacation Homes are a great factor in their decision making and the opportunity to leave this great legacy to their children forever.

Living in Tremblant you must spend a lot of time outdoors enjoying nature!
Yes - I cross country ski, love to mountain bike, enjoy the fresh air and the beach and tennis club in the summer.
