Our family (Hubby, myself and our two sons 19 and 16) went to Club Intrawest — Zihuatanejo in February – our first visit to the resort. We stayed in a 2-Bedroom Vacation Home which was very spacious – it is such a lovely setting but one of the most memorable experiences was the chef's cooking class. Continue reading.
We have been spending the last week (March 19th 2012) at Club Intrawest in Zihuatanejo and we can say this has been one of our best beach vacation yet. The location is great and the sea is perfect. The suites, balconies, breath taking views, service, are all up there as top ratings. We are recommending you come here and enjoy every minute. We will surely be back as soon as possible...

We are at Club Z right now. There aren't words to express the beauty of this place. Truly awe inspiring. And -- the Club Z staff is by far the warmest, most knowledgeable and friendliest hospitality staff I've ever been graced with. Half way in and I feel like they are friends -- who go above and beyond to anticipate any need I might have. Intrawest -- I am impressed!

View Larger MapStay on the main boulevard marked Mexico 200 and follow the directional signs to Zihuatanejo. Entering Zihuatanejo, pass under a banner sign "Bienvenidos a Zihuatanejo" and take the left lane past the stop light. Follow the signs to Zihuatanejo Centro. Keep to your left for several blocks until you see a sign to Zona Hotelera and have almost made a half circle to a stop light. Passing the light stay to the right until you see another sign to Zona Hotelera and turn right onto a small avenue with a narrow median and trees.
Continue to a round-about with a structure that looks like a Japanese arch, called Plaza Kyoto. Go half way around the Plaza Kyoto and over a small bridge. Continue along that road past the fire station on the left side and up the hill. This is called Carretera Escénica La Ropa and winds along to Club Intrawest — Zihuatanejo.
